The programme targets change-makers, educators, activists, artists, community workers, adult educators, youth workers, volunteers and anyone who is interested how creative engagement can nurture global citizenship and empathic action around local and global justice themes.

A passion of mine has always been arts + activism, and I was delighted to be part of the Irish contingent of a week long Erasmus+ European funded workshop with Creativity & Change in CIT Cork, on Global Justice.

Together with my team, we spent the week, thinking and talking about global issues, particularly in relation to youth activism. Using a series of design thinking tools and methodologies, we then designed a giant mural based on giving a voice to global justice issues, through street art. We created this on a building in the heart of Cork city.
